Using windows 7 64. During install get the above mentioned error message.  Program seems to install anyway, but  I get the same message when the "Activate, Try, Buy" screen appears and I hit "try".

Please can you try running the license manager as an administrator to make sure all of the services are running with the correct permissions. To do this go to your start menu - All Programs - Shaderlight

Right click on the 'Shaderlight License Manager' and select 'Run as administrator'

That did not solve the problem.  I will send an email.

change compatibility to vista os by clicking right properties

Thanks for helping alaabasit, this isn't behaviour the support guys have seen. Will pass it to the guys to have a look at whats happening.

Hi,

I'm having the same problem, with the same windows setup. Administrator mode didn't work. But running it under vista compatibility appears to start it up.
