I have downloaded and activated but it says “not signed” and doesn´t work. Why?

Hello,

The ‘not signed’ indicator is letting you know that the Shaderlight extension hasn’t been verified and digitally signed by Trimble. Unfortunately, Shaderlight isn’t compatible with SketchUp’s signing system, so it will always say this. It doesn’t affect Shaderlight’s ability to work, though, as long as you allow unsigned extensions to load, which it sounds like you have done, since you were able to access the activation dialog.

Can you describe in more detail what doesn’t work?

Many thanks,
Shaderlight support

This happened to me too, it doesn’t bring up the Shaderlight tool bar. How do I access it?

Hi Jocelyne

Please find below the instructions to show the Shaderlight Toolbar in SketchUp.
Windows:
In the Windows version of SketchUp this can be done in the ‘View’ menu and then select ‘Toolbars’ make sure Shaderlight is there and it is ticked.
Mac:
In the Mac version of SketchUp this can be done in the ‘View’ menu and then select ‘Tool Palettes’ make sure Shaderlight is there and is ticked.
When these toolbars are turned on then the Shaderlight toolbar should appear when SketchUp is started.
