ArtVPS release update to Shaderlight 2016

16 June 2016

An update to Shaderlight, the popular rendering plugin to SketchUp, has been released by ArtVPS today.

Following the launch of Shaderlight 2016 in November last year, some new features have been improved including Shaderlight’s Cloud rendering user interface and the usability of Shaderlight’s updated skylight portal placement tool.

New to this release is the addition of two new pre-set rendering resolutions, (2048 x 1536 and 2732 x 2048) optimised for iPad and iPad Pro 12.9 inch screens.

Kate Marshall, Marketing Director at ArtVPS commented “As we work toward the next major release of Shaderlight, this update focusses on optimising features introduced in the last release.

Shaderlight’s popular new portal placement tool is now easier to use and we have refined the Cloud rendering plugin user interface to remove facilities no longer supported since bringing Shaderlight Cloud rendering in house.”

In response to customer feedback, Shaderlight’ s rendering resolutions have also been updated and now include two additional pre-sets optimised for iPad and iPad Pro screens making it easier to present Shaderlight renders to clients.

Existing Shaderlight 2016 (v4.0) customers can download the update for free using the links in the ‘Update Shaderlight’ section on the download page of our website.
