SketchUp Essentials 

Google SketchUp enables you to draw and model using familiar tools in industry recognised software. The Essentials course provides you with an excellent foundation for beginning to learn to use SketchUp.

This course is intended for students with little or no 3 dimensional drawing or SketchUp experience, but who want to create efficient models using SketchUp. Our SketchUp certified instructors will show you all of the techniques necessary to get started with SketchUp, sharing your model in Google Earth, through to creating a presentation of your 3D model.

This one day course includes:

  • Create 2 dimensional geometry (in a 3 dimensional or 3D environment)
  • Create 3 dimensional geometry
  • View a model in 3D
  • Manipulating geometry
  • Create a model, step-by-step

  • Apply Materials

Shaderlight for Google SketchUp Training

Shaderlight Essentials

Our Shaderlight training course will enable you to take your SketchUp model to the next level and start creating photorealitic renderings with Shaderlight Pro.

Shaderlight for SketchUp enables you to create photo realistic renders interactively in Google SketchUp. Shaderlight enables you to work directly and simply with your SketchUp model to create lights, edit materials and much much more. This course is intended for students who are familiar with basic Google SketchUp features and view modes. No previous rendering experience is required, as the course will show the principles behind Shaderlight to create different lighting styles and material effects.

This 3 hour course includes:

  • Starting a render and the Shaderlight render window.
  • Shaderlight Physical Sky and Lighting Environments
  • Shaderlight Material Editor
  • Using Global Illumination to render an interior
  • Rendering an evening scene
  • Using artificial lights
  • Modifying material types and finishes
