Shaderlight grows a tree[d] forest!

Since the launch of version 2, Shaderlight customers around the world have had their workflow transformed by one of the leading SketchUp renderer’s most popular features – Replace Me.  The time saving tool lets users render detailed models in Shaderlight without slowing down their SketchUp workflow.

A library of Replace Me trees and people created by ArtVPS to accompany the new feature have proved a real hit amongst Shaderlight users with the original set of trees provided by DynaSCAPE having been downloaded over 5000 times.  This popularity has prompted the team at ArtVPS to expand the library by creating 20 new tree models and corresponding Replace Me components.

To accompany the new models, the Shaderlight team have also published a step by step tutorial on their blog showing customers how they can create their own Replace Me components using their own library of SketchUp models or those found on 3D Warehouse.
